Welcome to Brentwood

The City of Brentwood is nestled to the south of Hwy 40/64 and was recently named the City of Warmth. Brentwood is a residential area with a heavy focus on retail shopping, hotels, apartments, and restaurants and is accessible via the Metro Link Rail System connecting downtown St. Louis to the airport and beyond.

My favorite restaurant in Brentwood is Mai Lee – the very best Vietnamese cuisine in St. Louis.

Did you know… During the late 1920s, the community of Brentwood earned an unhealthy reputation for its numerous gambling houses and illegal activities that took place around the intersection of Manchester Road and Brentwood Boulevard. The first mayor, James L. Willingham (in office from 1929–1931), ran on the promise to clean Brentwood up and eliminate the casinos, along with the hoodlums who hung around them, which he did. The town then became once again attractive for families. On April 12, 1929, Willingham signed ordinance 1A, which established Brentwood as a city and determined its boundaries.

What is it like to live in Brentwood...
Brentwood was recently name The City of Warmth, for good reason. The residents of Brentwood love the city in which they reside and are proud of their neighborhoods and schools. Brentwood caters to a wide range of lifestyles, but one common trait that is seen throughout this community are the charming bungalow homes and meandering sidewalks chock full of walkers, cyclists, and pets! Brentwood is home to Tilles Park at the intersection of Litzsinger and McKnight Roads. Tilles Park is home to the ever popular Winter Wonderland during the holidays - a Wonderland of light displays that can be enjoyed by car, foot or horse-drawn carriage. If you have not experienced Winter Wonderland at Tilles Park, it is a must see! For more information, visit https://www.winterwonderlandstl.com/

The high school is a multi-time recipient of the Blue Ribbon Award, a top award for schools in Missouri.

Brentwood is also home to Brentwood High School, a 2006 and 2013 National Blue Ribbon Award winner, and Mark Twain Elementary School, a 2009 and 2010 National Blue Ribbon Award winner.
